Ten Strange Pregnancy Symptoms

Urinary incontinence in pregnancy
As your third trimester progresses, you may find that when you laugh, you leak – and a sudden sneeze can be especially dangerous. Your uterus is pressing on your bladder big time, making it hard to hold pee in. Urinary incontinence is a problem that can persist post-pregnancy and your risk of future problems increases with every baby.
Solution
Let’s face it, accidents happen, but there is a way to power up your pelvic floor so you can sneeze safely. The key is Kegel exercises – contract your pelvic floor muscles (as though trying to stop urine mid-flow) and hold for a count of five, then relax for five. Try doing five Kegels in a row and work up to holding the muscles for 10 seconds. (As an added bonus, toning your pelvic floor muscles also improves your sex life!) If leaking is holding you back from your regular routine, incontinence pads and protective panties can keep you dry until you get your pelvic floor back in shape.
