Personalized Jewelry
The personalized jewelry trend is reaching an all-time high – and for good reason. It’s so lovely to carry around a little memory of your kids with you as you go about your day. One of our favourites is Citrus Silver.
The Bloor West Village studio in Toronto creates sterling silver pendants and charms stamped with names, dates or meaningful words. Designer Karen Lamont hand stamps each letter individually by hammering with a metal stamp. “It’s all about consistent pressure,” says Lamont. “It’s a bit tricky but we just love the impression it leaves in the silver.
Our favourite product is the leather cuff. The Italian bracelet comes in five colours (teal blue is seen here) and wraps around your wrist three times. It’s a hip way to show off the “Sunny” pendant. It also comes with a sterling silver clasp so that you can remove the pendant and also wear it as a necklace. The leather cuff is also made in Canada by Susana Erazo, a leather artisian from Toronto’s HIDE boutique.
You can order as late as May 7 for Mother’s Day gifts (or May 6 for overnight delivery)
