A Mother’s Day Gift that Gives Back

A Mother’s Day Gift that Gives Back

Mommy Gear | April 2013

As if you needed another reason to love jewelry, now you can give a necklace to your favorite mom and know that 100% of the proceeds go to Toronto’s Sick Kids Hospital.

Beading Buds is a GTA-based company that designs jewelry and offers a travelling birthday party service. A beading instructor comes to your home or party venue and teaches children how to make one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry that they’re happy to show off after the event.

The newest design by Beading Buds is the mother’s necklace (seen here) with a heart charm and crystal charms with the birthstone of each child on a sterling silver plated chain. The cost of the necklace is $25, with an additional $5 for shipping. Click here if you’re interested in ordering.
