Operation ResCUTE
The Story of Jingles is a stuffy and a storybook with heart. Jingles is a real puppy who was rescued from the streets of NYC. Now her story teaches kids about pet adoption.
The Story of Jingles is a heartwarming story about a three-week-old puppy that the author Laurie Brown-Nagin found battered on the streets of New York City. In the story the puppy is placed in a crowed dog shelter and dreams of being loved. She shares her adventurous efforts to escape and the dog eventually finds a loving family to care for her.
The author is a mother of two, dog lover and founder of Operation ResCUTE, which is intended to educate and encourage the next generation of young readers to think about adopting shelter dogs in need of loving homes. Each gift set costs $29 and 100 per cent of the profits go to animal shelters in support of their adoption programs.
