Teething Do Not List
- Don’t use teething gels. There are potential side effects and they’re not very effective.
- Don’t use homeopathic teething remedies. They can potentially be toxic.
- Don’t allow biting on hard, cut-up vegetables such as carrot sticks. They’re a choking hazard.
- Don’t feed your baby honey due to the risk of botulism in children under the age of one.
- Don’t give your baby alcohol.
- Don’t place teething rings or amber necklaces around your baby’s neck. There’s a risk of strangulation.
