Signs of Choking
It's important to know the signs of choking and to monitor your child closely during feeding. Choking is likely occuring if any of the following are happening:
- gasping for breath
- infant may wave arms or grab at throat
- turns blue around the lips and beneath the eyes
- staring with an open mouth while drooling
- intermittent odd sounds
