Babies who Bite

What to do with a biter
If your infant bites, be gentle but firm. Say “no” and distract him with a toy or other activity. If your toddler bites another child, the best approach is to console the child who was on the receiving end and remove the biter temporarily, says Kolari. Pick your child up, say: “No, we don’t do that.” Then, sit him down quietly for a minute before letting him go. “He’ll learn that every time he bites, he’ll be removed from the activity he was enjoying.”
